Pat (Singrun) Schaumann, CMP, CSEP, DMCP, HMCC, is a dynamic leader with an impressive career spanning over 50 years in the hospitality industry. She graduated from Roosevelt in June 1966 where she was President of the Pepettes, Secretary of Pep R, Vice President Modern Dance, Property Chairperson, Student Council and Treasurer of the Carol Club. Her career is highlighted below:

  • Pat consults and trains various organizations, including pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and biotech firms, on medical compliance laws.
  • Her expertise extends to compliance training for hotels, restaurants, convention bureaus, hospitals, and third-party meeting agencies.

2. Author and Educator:

  • Pat authored the acclaimed book “Breaking the Code to Healthcare Compliance,” now in its 5th edition.
  • She serves as the Executive Editor of the “MPI CMP Healthcare Training Manual” and “The Guide to Successful Destination Management.”
  • Pat’s contributions to the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate program (offered globally through MPI, St. Louis University, and the Convention Industry Council) have impacted over 4,000 professionals worldwide.

  • Pat’s work as a subject matter expert has transcended borders. She has trained medical professionals in Dubai, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the United States.
